Initial Whitening Session

Express a small amount of whitening gel into each tray and place into the mouth.

Wipe out any excess immediately off of the gums.

For best results, use for a consecutive 7‑10 days until desired shade is achieved.

Once your desired shade is achieved, it is best to wait 6 months before whitening again.
Timing

If this is your first time using whitening gel, start with 1 hour (regardless of percentage) to test for sensitivity tolerance.

Opalescence 10%: 4-6 hours or overnight

Opalescence 15%: 2-4 hours

Opalescence 20%: 1-2 hours

Opalescence 35%: 30 minutes
Touch Up Sessions

Same directions as your initial session however your desired shade can be accomplished in 1‑3 days. Once your desired shade is achieved, it is best to wait 6 months before whitening again.
Sensitivity

If sensitivity occurs: place sensodyne into clean trays following whitening procedure and leave in for 15 minutes. You may do this following each whitening session.

If you are having significant sensitivity, stop using and contact us.
Cleaning Whitening Trays

Brush ONLY with the appliance toothbrush provided during the visit, using soap and water.

NO OTHER CLEANING PRODUCTS OR TOOTHPASTE.

Must be completely dried before closing lid on case for storage.
